Boudoir is becoming an increasingly popular gift to give as a surprise to grooms on their wedding day. Therefore we get quite a few brides in the studio every month. Bridal Boudoir is one of the boudoir themes where props become something that is imperative to the shoot. Most women like to bring their wedding veil, shoes, or garter to incorporate into their bridal boudoir session. These items speak very well to the theme, but it also is a great way to incorporate personal wedding details. Books often get given to the groom before the wedding ceremony and seeing all these small details gives them a peek into what his bride is wearing on the wedding day, but also gets him extra excited to see her. ;). One of my favorite props for a bridal boudoir session actually isn’t a very common prop, which is probably why I like it so much. In this session, our bride brings her wedding rings and although it was a challenge to figure out fun ways to incorporate them, it turns out wedding rings make and excellent Bridal Boudoir prop! Here are some of my favorite details from this Orange County Bridal Boudoir Shoot.
